Frog Physiology
The lightweight totally machined aluminium putter head is extra wide with two heavy tungsten weights positioned low and behind the face to give it perfect balance and an extremely high "Moment of Inertia", which means it provides maximum forgiveness and gives positive roll to the ball immediately after impact. It features bold white sight lines to allow for easy alignment of the "frog green" head .
Golfers will benefit from the alignment guidance system built into the Frankly Putter, which will help them aim more effectively. The ‘On-Serttm’ technology provides a solid but soft feel and allows the internal tungsten stabilizers and MOI ports, which provide increased forgiveness, to be visible. The lie-right radius sole ensures that the putter sets up perfectly for each individual while the drag-resistant flange allows the putter to glide over the fringe of the green. Fittingly, each Frankly Putter can be equipped with a customised shaft in stepped or step less steel or with a graphite shaft that provides additional head feel.
Frog Design
The Frankly Frog is the brainchild of Frank Thomas, inventor of the graphite golf shaft and former Technical Director of the USGA. He is currently Chief Technical Advisor to both Golf Digest and The Golf Channel .
